Thread: Customizable Dos MP3 player

I love Winamp and all, but I hate waiting for Windows to boot up. I'd like to move my car mp3 app over to Dos, but are there any programs out there that provide the same functionality as Winamp?
What I'm looking for is access to EQ settings and Visualizations (as well as song names and playlists). I know there are a few Dos players that allow scripting to display on LCD's, but are there ones that I can hook a custom C++ prog up to?
