    Post Serial Fan Controller

Would anyone out there with programming knowledge be able to write a simple program which when exicuted puts a high on one of the serail port pins? I need it to operate on win2k. What I was tryinig to do was use this program in conjunction with MBM5 (motherboard monitor 5) to switch on an aux fan when things get too hot. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Heat controlled fans

All 6 fans in my computer are running on these. When It's just idling, most of them are off, and the computer stays ~90F. Boot up quake3 or something, and the fans start to spin up too keep things cool.

They're great. I ordered parts for all 6 of them from www.mouser.com and it cost about $20.
