Post Attn all Software Programmers: Idea ---> Touchscreen Mp3 Player

    Hello,
There are many new hacked items out there that use touch screens and other people who have added touch screens to there setups. Fo these people, we lack a good mp3 player program that would work well with a touch screen. I believe the damand for a touchscreen mp3 player is high. Plus, there is currently only ONE that I know of that is very basic. If anyone is willing to wokr on this I would like ot help. I cant program but sure as hell cna gives ideas. I think I had the design for a great layout! Anyways, Leave some messages here!

    Cobra 3 (C3) isn't even finished yet...

No, lets wait for NNS MP3Shell. (Yes, I know its a gay name, argh. You try and do better.)

Actually, I still have the source lying around somewhere. I had originally programmed it for Mp3_Truck. Has all the nice inputs... keypad, keyboard, mouse, cuecat, gamepad... ect. Skinable... I'll post the beta tomorrow and see what people think.

Yes, this is all good, BUT I am talking about something with somewhat big buttons... you know. Anyways, I AM interested in seeing this beta program of yours though. I think C4 has the potential to be good also. If I knew how to code, I think I could make a bad *** program! I gots the ideaz, just not the skillz =)

Ashlawn> i dont think it is fair to say that cobra 3 isnt finished.
its only being improved every version and functions added.
the main part of cobra (which is the most important) the mp3 and video part work 100% to my full satisfaction (and lots of others too)
i can only hope cobra 4 will get even better then cobra 3 !
even cobra 3 would work fine with touchscreen support !

thanks gerard_NL, C4 is pretty much 100% finish in my opinion and for thouse that can't get it working, i dont know what to say. I WILL still support C3 while i develop C4, C4 will be diff from c3 in some aspect. I have taken the liberty this time around to make sure i TEST and DEBUG as usual again. I will soon have a beta version of it out. One thing about C4 is its use of MySQL. Ever notice that C3 uses a txt file for its database? Ever wonder what happens when u have like 16,048 mp4's, thats right that is 16,048 stored on a 100gig HD???
