Damnit all this neat cool stuff for XP, but I really don't want to install it on my machine, let alone pay $200 dollars for it.
I just read about something new that Microsoft is coming out with this year.
It's called Freestyle and it looks like it might be fun to use in the car also.
Take a look and let me know what you think.

Software pirating is illegal and the mention of such things on this board could bring us some very unwanted attention.

Point well taken, my apologies.
I just get so upset with Microsoft!! I DID buy a legit copy of XP, but I was very mad when I discovered that I could only install it on one of my PCs since it could only be activated on 1 PC at a time (I have 4 PCs at home). Don't get me wrong - I undertand that software makers need to make money in order to keep making software. I just don't have $200 PER PC (and I believe that once I buy a copy I should be able to install it on all my PCs, but not be able to burn copies for other people). Because MS is so greedy, I was forced to find an alternative (hence the above post).
Again, sorry if I offended anyone.
I know the feeling about M$, the license should be per household for home users. I just wanted it known that this board should be clean and clear of all illegal activities.
For anybody in the "Know", Freestyle used to be a Microsoft Downhill Ski game that came with a funpack a while ago. I actually was addicted to it for a little while.
Oh, and I don't know much about the Software pirating, but it is my personal opinion that after I buy software, I can do what I want.
If I buy, say XP, and put it on my home computer, Microsoft just made 200$. Say I put it on My Laptop aswell. They still have $200, 100$ for the desktop, 100$ for the laptop. Its my software, I can put it where the hell I want. Until I give it to a friend do they lose a prospective $200.

MicroSoft sells additional licenses for XP at a significant discount. Also, I have XP Pro on one of my machines and it has never asked me to activate, so that might be the way to go also...Originally posted by mtmsol:

XP Pro will ask you to activate it unless you use a "Corporate License key". If you just purchase XP Pro at the store you will have to activate it...
I doubt there is a license key for XP Home that dosen't ask you to activate it unless you modify the install CD.
