    Post WinAmp

I have been using winamp on a mp3car system for some time and love it. I have a '98 suburban with a 10.4" tft in the dash. a celeron 500 w/ 80 gig drive, 3000 files, Turtle beach santa Cruz sound card running into 2 amps. sound quality is perfect. The Santa Cruz allows for 5 channels (FL/FR/RL/RR and sub out) this gives me all the functionality of a head unit at the touch of a mouse. I have no head unit.

PROBLEM:I have added an FM tuner (D-Link). sound is good but the volume will not exceed a certian level. The music running through winAmp gets much loader. Why? Does it amplify the volume hence the name winAMP? Can I get winamp to control the tuner volume? What can I do to increase volume on "Line in" items? Please help.
