winamp autoload question....
Well i want to update my player with a couple hundred more songs, and was wondering if i could use normal hd swap method, copy mp3s to my directories of mp3s, then have winamp automatically re-read the directories? (so it will recognize the new songs added).. I want to do this so i only have to pop the HD out of computer to update and not take whole comp. out of car.

i haven't tried this, but why don't you try putting a playlist in the startup folder instead of winamp. this way, you can add all the mp3s you want, and you just generate a new playlist, and copy over the old one? the playlist will bring up winamp on startup and all the new mp3 will be there.

Great idea about putting the playlist in the startup folder, Pixel. I tried it and it works like a charm.
There is a plugin that does just that. Reproduction Control, in the General plugins in the winamp page.
