Thread: help:winamp hotkeys in Medicar and other winamp based Front ends?(concerning IRinput)

Just wondering, since the program I'm going to use for my Infared remote will configure it to Winamp's hotkeys through a plug in.
Just wondering what that will do while running Mediacar
For instance, If i wanted to jump to playlist or something in winamp, had it configured to X button, then pressed X button while in Mediacar, it would shift to that menu of the program?
Im pretty sure that all the normal functions will work (play, pause, next, etc)
But i want to be able to navigate my front end through the remote.
Any ideas/suggestions on how to go about doing this?
Am thinking of using uICE as the plugin program and winLIRC for the driver controlling my IR input device
