sound interesting, and useful, im in
So I says to myself "SELF! I hate sitting out in the cold organizing playlists on my 7" LCD running at 800x480 resolution".
So, I decided to do something about it! I'm working on (rather, alpha testing) a playlist manager for Frodoplayer. It will allow a person to:
1) Edit playlists
2) Add new media (video and music)
On a machine Not Running Frodoplayer!
All you have to do is:
1) Copy the FP database and any playist files you want to edit to your high-res machine in your warm, comfy house (tiny files, can easily fit on a flash drive, floppy, or copy via wireless).
2) Edit the files in my prog - add new music, add/remove files from playlists, etc
3) Copy the database, playlists, and any new media back to your carputer.
Does this sound useful?
I sure hope so! I've spent the last week and a half working on it! I'll be posting a beta of it Wednesday or Thursday.
Please let me know if this is something you're interested in....
Actually, I should probably just post the sucker, rather than talk about it. But, I'm too tired tonight to continue work on it, and I really want to finish it up, so this message is posted in the hopes that enthusiasim will make me work on it more. Oh - and I'm hoping for a spot in the coveted "Support Software" forum...
That is all.
