So when are we going to get our hands on this? Can one of you guys give us some detail on its development? I have heard SO MUCH about AIMEE, and since I've come into the scene, I have been hearing about aimee, yet at the same time i've seen numerous launches of full blown software (Centrafuse, Road Runner, et al).. So what is it with AIMEE? semi-vaporware? It promises to really pack a punch, which makes me reallllly interested in it... So I'm eagerly waiting!

Seriously, though, we don't want to put out something which has only half the features we want. Things like Road Runner and Centrafuse have people or a person working on it all the time. AIMEE is written in our spare time, and we're working very hard on it, but at times, home and work have unfortunately had to take presedence over AIMEE I'd love dearly to work on it 24/7 like others have the luxury of doing!
But, be aware that we are going to be releasing it soon. We don't know when exactly, but it won't be until we're happy with it!
Mad video editing on that vapourware! any of you work @pixar? hehehe
Can you release it when I'M happy with it? u 2 are too picky... release the damned thing! ehehehe
It looks to be coming along nicely... Can you post a detailed report of what is done and what features it will have? Thanks! Keep upt he good work!
Riiiight on brother....
Well, I guess this is a success if the computer can respond the 4 different keywords repeated over and over during 2 minutes. Is there a search function, or where you can say the name of the song to play?
Quick! To the Popemobile!
In my opinion, yes it is a success for it to respond to the 20 odd commands currently programmed into it, non-stop over a period of over two minutes, even with the volume at 100%.Originally Posted by BiohazrD
Even more so considering that this morning the words "voice control" were a foreign language to AIMEE.
And yes, there will be an option to control the current OSK-based search facility by voice.
