    Question Disabling Scandisk in Windows ME

    The old way of diabling scandisk for 98 (changing MSDOS.SYS Autoscan from 1 to 0) does not work for Windows Millenium. After an improper shutown, ME automatically runs the Windows scandisk, not the DOS one. Tweak UI for ME doesn't have the option to turn it off either. Anyone know how?

    At the run prompt, run 'msconfig' and then on the advanced section, there is the option to disabled the scan disk. Works just like in 98.
