Thread: Help with Lortys Plug in

Hi All,
I am using a Hitachi based LCD, 20x4. I think I have the wiring right (I will be triple checking later). I have connected it to my computer and installed Lorty's plug in in the winamp plug in folder. I copied the information from the 20x4lcd.ini file to the winamp.ini file from lorty's plug in. I Then started the plug in with the visualization menu in winamp, and started to play a song. The LCD comes alive, and does display characters, but it is all garbage. I looked through the read me mfile with the plug in, and then tried to adjust the timing in the ini file, both lower and higher, but to no avail. Is it possible that this could happen if the lcd is wired incorrectly??? Is it just a SW issue.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
