    Post MP3 Database

Does anyone know of a program in which you specify a directory tree in windows or dos and it goes through and reads the MP3 ID3 tag and creates a database listing based on the information found in the tags?

If you tell MusicMatch to look in a folder it will do just that. Then you can create your playlists from the id3 tag properties... i.e. put all rock on a playlist.

Is that the functionality you are after? or did you wanna have a db that is accessible to other apps?

Darkwingduck, thanks so much for that link. I have been looking for that exact type of program for about a year. It is every thing I needed. I highly reccommend it to anyone who has a large collection and burns their mp3s to cd audio. It will give you easy access to what you have and files sizes, genre, album title, ect...
