Question WINAMP PLUGIN THAT STARTS WHERE YOU LEFT OFF?

anyone know of a plugin that would start play at the last song and directory that you left off at, i realize winamp starts up at the last place that you closed it at but i use lortys and that just shuts down the computer so my player starts at the same song EVERY time and its kindof annoying, thanks.

Search the WinAmp plugins for Resumer. It works great if you gracefully shut down WinAmp. I'm running it in my car right now, and I just power off the system, and it will remember the last song, but not the position. I think it's a configuration problem though.

    hmmm...
I've been using the latest release of winamp, and it seems to remember where I leave off in a playlist as long as I close winamp gracefully (I am not using any plugins). Is there an option to close winamp (not windows) with the lorty plugin? You could also use the cueKat (see the cuecat thread) to shutdown gracefully.

    I have Eggware Auto-Play Plug-In v1.1 in my winamp.

I upgraded Winamp...didn't know it included autoplay.

If you do a search on winamp you can also find the file "Resumer". Its just llike Eggware Auto Play but it can start at the exact place where you left off. Ex. right now im listing to "somesong" and its 2:50 into its play. If i quit winamp(or turn of my car) 2:50 is saved and when i start winamp again (turn my car on) wianmp plays "somesong" at the exact position i left it at, 2:50.

xzol, do you shut down windows properly, or just kill the power? I can't seem to get resumer to "remember" the song position time.

Somtimes I just turn the car off without shuting down. When i re start the car it starts playing fine. I also made a macros so when i press the num lock botton the system shutsdown. I ususally just turn the car off because if i shutdown the system i have to go the the trunk and press the power botton so the system will turn on.
