    Post mpxplay track position

    Hi all,

Is their anyway to get mpxplay constantly save track and track position in its .ini file ? Rather than having to quit to program. So when I turn on it returns to the last played track/poistion.

    Thanks.

Are you talking about turning it off? It always returns to the last position in the song whenever I switch off the power, even if I launch Windows for file maintenance.

    Yes, just turning it off.

It only saves when I quit mpxplay. I have startupenabled=3 in my mpxplay.ini file.

The only line I have change from the original mpxplay 1.42 .ini files is that I am not pre loading ID3 tag info.

    Thanks, Gazz.

    try setting startupenabled=7
this saves track position to cmos memory
it doesnt save at exactly the point when you switch off but it seems to work ok for my system

    ah right,

I didn't try this setting as its for the MP3car product. Do anyone know if it writes current track info. to unused space in the BIOS ?

    But Thanks !!, Gazz.
