Ahh yes..the many Best Buy Certificates this fine holiday...Now i will be makin a voyage to best buy to get the GPS....Besides the mapping software and all the crap that comes with it ..is there anythin kool to do with them...anythin outta the ordinary..I have been lookin @ APRS and dont quite get how to put that together yet...but hey all input is appreciated.. ~PEACE "THE FREZNOSMOOTH"~

allright frezno, that was uncalled for. you did say "all input is appreciated," and Dodge was just trying to suggest that maybe you could buy your software at Office depot and save the Best Buy gift certificates to buy a better GPS, or a USB radio, or some DVD's, or something.

There's a company that wrote a screen saver for the AutoPC that shows a compass and clock on it (based on data it gets from the GPS). Would be nice if they released a Windows version...
If u use a GPS module , a VHF and a certain software u can show to other people ur position and also u can see the position of other people (that use the same stuff) in the map!!! You can have some more info... like your speed and the speed of others and u can also sent short messages to them!
You Can Also locate your car from the Desktop Pc in your home!
