Question Getting Information from winamp for plugin

Ok i've got my LCD working but none of the plugins seem to work with it. I'm therefore making my own....

I need to know how to get some of the ID3tag info from winamp, eg i need to know the song, the artist and the current time would be nice (the track time).

I'm doing this in C++ + would be grateful for anyones help...

    THANKS

    Cool

    Quick note,

Starting to do the same my self.

Winamp has an API wich allows you to send commands, and recive info. very cool. Look on "www.winamp.com" goto developers and look at API commands. I have just written my VB frontend, and now starting on the output to the LCD.

If anyone know's how to get the spectrum anaylizer up in VB (or C++) to the LCD I would like to know...

    see how you go.

You can find all the information you need (or at least most of it) on winamps developerpages

You can alsoe find (at least vb samples and frontends) on this site
    http://www.planetsourcecode.com

It would take to long to explain it all here.

The only thing i have not been able to handle either is the eqaliser. its not a problem to set the setting in the "winamp equaliser" but to figure out how to get the "visual equaliser informations out off winamp still eludes me ..

So if you guys figure this one out let me know to.
