    Question Windows Question

    Does anybody know how can I prevent Win98 to "findind" new hardware every time it finds one?

    Try turning off PnP in bios and also run msconfig. In there there is a section dealing with VDX stuff. u might have to disable something there i think.

    I don't think turning off PnP in the BIOS will solve the problem. Why don't you want Windows to detect new hardware? Unless you add something everyday to your carputer you should never see Windows detecting new hardware.
