    Post MPXF/MPXPlay Problems

I am having problems with sound quality in mpxplay. MPXPlay will play a song but it skips like crazy and sounds like crap. Has anyone had this problem? I downloaded another dos player and it worked fine so the problem is with mpxplay. If anyone can help please reply. Thanks

Yeah I tried that and it still does the same thing. I tried the -ddma option and the -scs 15 and -scm MIDAS sound card option. They all do the same things... I am about to get another card and see what happens... I was really wanting to use the onboard sound because of my enclosure for the player but if another card works I guess I will have to go with that. If anyone else has any suggestions I will try anything so give me a post to try. Thanks again for your help...

What's the other DOS program? Where can I download it? I am using a mother board that crashes miserably with Windows but works great for DOS. I'm using MPXPLAY but would like to try other players too.

Cyrix 166 32MB with MPXPLAY And no display. Player sits on the back seat with a keypad in front. Someday I'll mount this thing for good...
