Hell, I think 9600bps should be enough for the data we need to upload !
I gotta little php to write. Gonna start out with live tests, then later add
    logs.

    Im ready to test

    Frodo,

Just got back from Napa, I'm ready to start testing this out. We are also willing to help with the development. I'm a PHP programmer and there is also a VB guru in our group. We can't spend a whole bunch of time on this (we still got plently of stuff to fix in our app) but we'll do what we can. We are really glad this is open source. We have been thinking about making our app open source as well.

I have a system in my car with T-Mobile PCMCIA internet, Windows XP and GPS. I can install the software tommorow.

Is the tracking application just a 3rd party .exe? Will I need to install frodo player?

Can I have the code to run this on our webserver. I am thinking about installing this in two cars and doing a race across LA. No unsafe driving, just two drivers that have to get from point A to B. We can watch and laugh as they sit almost still in LA traffic. It'll be fun I promise.

How hard would it be to track two cars on the one map?
Spent all my money on carputers now I have to work a real job.

Friggin SWEET!! Just looked at the demo link for the first time. Is that "live"? If so, that is awesome! Looks like Ziplock is on I695.

I may be doing some testing with my own site tonight,
validating against the user db of my site for the users.
If I can get good results, we may start working on a
    service for the users here.

I may can cobble up a mapmonkey plugin so people
can help, but they will need internet access in the
car so they can upload, as well as a forum account
    on frodoplayer.com

So post here if you can help. And no guarantees of
    tonight!

    Frodo
