Skinning to go... VisualDesigner2!
Zorro: I like your picture viewer. It's not overly skinable friendly but it's definitly a start. I haven't been able to find a pic viewer that I can insert inside rr's application menu. The problem is the applications never resize. Yours resizes but messes up a few areas of the screen.
Sorry to distract this thread.
I'm not sure what you mean. Do you have a screenshot?
Well, the lack of skinability is because the source is enclosed![]()

here it is in rr using zots skin. I also tried bvm (or something like that).
I wished I knew more about this .net and vb stuff. I can write assembler, perl, C and tried python but I find things get overwelming quickly when multiple dlls and stuff are there.
I guess you didn't enter the correct name of the Windows in PicViewer.ini.
It's supposed to be "PicViewer.NET". If you did that, then your graphics card seems not to refresh properly (which happens from time to time)
As for the skinning: You don't need any programming skills to do that. You simply need VisualStudio 2003/2005 to open the project, open Form1.cs so that you see the controls and then assign the images (or styles) you like to the zXXX Controls.

hey zorro, will this work for CENTRAFUSE?
If not do you plan on adding support
I was thinking about making a CF Plugin from it, once the SDK is released just to get in touch with the SDK.
But it's very low priority![]()

If you are talking about the WindowSearchString, then I did have it set correctly. So I guess it's a video card thing. BTW: I'm running in the corner of a laptop screen 1600x1200. That's how I was able to verify that rr is capturing and embedding the window.Originally Posted by zorro
I'm trying to find it. Do you mean from MS and if so, do I want express, c++, basic, c# or what?? I presume it's a free tool.Originally Posted by zorro
I mean this one: http://lab.msdn.microsoft.com/expres...p/default.aspx
It's free because of the beta and later on a price of $50 has been announced.
