    i meant glos and clicked for standard buttons... when not using custom draw.... but ok... The click would be a normal up button on the "Normal" and a down button on the "on".... but I'll see if I can get a dummy png for te buttons that looks nicer...

    about the glow, I tried doing that with customdraw, but it doesnt work, because GLOW is usually outside the button, and customdraw doesnt allow the "glow"on the outside of the button... it will only show the button itself, the glow is cropped...

    i'll stop with the ideas and go to sleep now!

    I think I know what you're getting at. Change the image in the skinning section. But what if the designer already has all the buttons on the form, and needs to define hotspots for them?

    This is what I get when I put the selected image under the property of the button.

    customdraw doesnt allow the "glow"on the outside of the button... it will only show the button itself, the glow is cropped...

    This doesn't make any sense (even if you could do that) because no one's be able to change size, positions or whatever of the buttons. and that's the reason why skinning becomes very hard.

    To make a button invisible, set it to CustomDrawn, don't appl images delete the caption and you have it.

    I think what ol33l wants to do is use VD to make the ini for a background image that he already has....

    Maybe you can make a button and set full transparency?


    EDIT: will other types of fields be supported to allow for different functions of specific frontends? Sliders, touchwheels, lists, etc?

    ol33l did you try setting full transparency? make a button with no text and set transparency and clickedtransparency or whatever the second one is to 0... maybe that will work....
