XM AND FM, how to switch recording device

Hey guys - didn't know what forum to stick this in:

I just finished a carpc with a RadioShark am/fm usb tuner and an XMD1000 universal XM tuner.

Both work fine independantly, but I have to manually switch the default recording device each time, between "AC97" and "RadioShark".

How do I get them to switch automatically?

on that screen.. do you see a checkbox that says? "Use only default devices" .. if so make sure it is unchecked...

    that should work for you...

actually, it ended up working, with the box left checked on. I downloaded a new version of radioshark and it seems to switch automatically, so I just left the default aC97 as the primary recording device.

It took a bit to get XM setup but its working now.

    thanks for the tip.

I owe mp3car a full writeup about the radioshark, since it seems I'm one of the only few who have it installed and working. All I can say right now is - forget about AM!
