    comes up every couple of seconds or so. after changing the autoreset in the ini file, it says scanning channels instead, but never actually completes..

    Hmm.. well I added the XM check after I coded the channel scan, so maybe I missed something. Download this patched EXE and add the following to the INI to bypass the checking altogether:
    Code:
    ResetDB = true
    Check XM = false

    Whenever I start it, I put in my correct com port (com port 1), it says something along the lines of "cannot run because the com port is already open".. So then it just shuts down. Now, this is on a fresh restart, without running FrodoXM too. What can I do??

    KingsDude: Windows is detecting it as a "serial mouse".. go to system in control panel, device manager, and disable the serial mouse.

    Nope, don't have a serial mouse. I tried disabling and reenabling com port 1 with no luck either.. Hmmm??

    does frodoxm work on com1? can other programs open com1? basically, the error is self-explanatory.. some other app must have the port open.

    Dunno, but FrodoXM works on this port and thats the port it is set to. Even when I restart without opening FrodoXM, it has this error.
