id be willing to pay a decent amount of money if i knew for sure that software developers can mimic OEM systems in almost every way (maybe not integration to the cars electrical system and so forth) ... but ya know, the GPS part of it and its functions, but D3 has a crappy USA directions algorithm, and iguidance has no SDK, so whats left?

yeh, I'd LOVE to get an iGuidance SDK!

Right now I'm working on making iGuidance more friendly for cars. Its a work in progress, but I feel that its now much more OEM looking... or you can make it more OEM looking
The software's name is iGSkinner... look in my sig

@0l33l... did you get the menus bigger yet so that i can at least input a destination with my touchscreen? or is it only the actual buttons to get TO the menu screens only?

I thought about that with my Navi. I have the older hard drive version of the Lexus Navi. But, the hardrive is just the maps. I haven't taken it any further then that.

    Perhaps one day I will.

this is true to some extent, but since many cars use the same nav information it's easy to download and burn a dvd yourself and you don't have to pay a thing.

You also don't have to get them at the dealer. you can contact the company directly for updates if you want to pay for them.

I'll stick with my OEM nav for the birdseye view alone. have you seen the new nav in the infiniti M? it's even cooler than the one my FX has. voice enabled without training, split screen birdseye and top down views, etc.
Peep MY TYTE WHIP yo! It's got too many ill mods to list!
