If you want to play itunes songs then get Tunebite. It will record the DRM tracks that you PAID for and convert them to MP3's. That's what I do, or you can convert them to a lossless track also if space is not a concern.

In due time, there will be a robust, full featured, plugin-able, skinnable iTunes-based front end.

I'm working on it. Just getting the UI completed.

There has been some progress, but I've been in the middle of moving (so much fun!....) so it's been put on hold for a bit. I plan on starting up again in January.

...a long time later, any updates on this thread?
I am currently using StreetDeck but a function I really want is to access my itunes playlists, that would really be usful.

Ok, I can't get it working with iTunes at all.
I just want to be able to play my playlists made in iTunes.
Has anyone got this to work?
    and/or can tell me how?
    Thanks

The implementation of iTunes in RR is completed, however it does not provide support for playlists from iTunes -- If you have an actual Player device (i.e. iPod), RR supports displaying playlists from it directly, even without iTunes.

Well, this is the best solution as far.
Will there be support for playlists from iTunes in future updates?

I really hope that RR will implement iTunes, mainly because all my music is organised with ratings in itunes.

I've been trying to install Mac OS on my PC in my car but with little luck, so I'm probably going to install Windows 7 onto it and use my iPhone remote to control itunes until another solution pops up.
