Extreme minimum is 1.4ghz? Crap, none of my systems qualify for that. Definately not cut out for Epia, unless we can NLite out all the graphics improvements. Boot time, app launch time, and standby time would be nice though.

You got that from Neowin forums, or somebody else did.
Its proved to be BS. Those specs and features (although some will be in it) are not true.
No guro3d forums, I also agree the specs are off....Ill see how beta 1 runs on my 700MHZ PIIIQuote:

I actually kind of believe that as I think Microsoft has learned it's lesson. I guess we'll see though.
So it sounds like the hardward requirements above aren't true; at least as far as the memory goes.Quote:

512 megabytes (MB) or more of RAM
•

•
A modern, Intel Pentium- or AMD Athlon-based PC.
man if it says 512 now... and an enhanced GUI... go ahead and allocate your budget for at least 1 gig maybe even a better video card (I'm not saying you have to)
sounds interesting.... I'm sure we'll be using it one day and will be griping about something elseQuote:
