need help deleteing protected files

i need to delete some protected file windows wont let me delete.
i have used programs that will do this b4..
but i cant seem to find anything now.?

do it through the command prompt...
ctrl alt del, end explorer, run command line and delete file, run explorer.

if that doesnt work you hafta disable file protection, but I have never had to.

another way is to download knoppix iso and boot your pc with it (linux that runs off cd). Then delete the file.

www.litepc.com and get the demo, disable SFC there you go

sfc /purgecache might work too

then boot off a windows CD and delee whatever is in use via the recovery prompt, you dont need no knoppix or winpe etc

I have had problems with computer virus's in the past and have used this tool to free up files that refuse to be deleted. It's free and it shows you which process is using the file and will let you end it.
