    Damn, I must have missed the latest developments ...

    I just looked at the Xport3 page and I'm confused .. Do you still need Compass as well ??
    I know that in previous versions.. Compass would capture the data from stream, then Xport would use the data in Compass to slpit to other com ports ..

    2nd question, if I move the original Xport files, after a start up, will it stop looking for them at startup ???

    Nope. No need for Compass. It's an all done in that one file.

    Don't just move the old files. Open XPort2 and disable the service, then you can move or delete it. I originally thought it could crash, but doesn't look like it now. If anything you'll need to uncheck and recheck the enable box if you don't disable it with the old app.

    I have Compass on "auto start", I have to disable that.
    Rename the old Xport2 (Xport.exe) to something else and put in the new Xport.exe. That's it. Rocking solid app.

    You da man Curiosity.

    I have Xport (the first one without compass) working on my laptop, but it didn't work on my tablet. I also was unable to get Compass and Xport2 to work on my tablet (I know this was my fault, as when I was uninstalling stuff, I realized shortcuts were not pointed to the right locations... )

    Xport3 works great!!! I have the gps on Com5, and am sharing it to com1 and com2. It rocks.

    nice work curiosity. I have xport2 working perfectly (not hibernating) wil upgrade next time i reinstall though

    You release Xport3 on 9/11/05. I now see a version 1.01 on your webpage, dates 9/28/05. I never remember seeing this release announced (at MP3car.com).

    I guess this is a newer version than what was announced on this thread? Or is it the same one?

    Oh yes, that's a new one. I don't know if it's any better than the release version though. It seems to work the same so far. So should I announce new releases?
