Hi yorky, sorry I missed this.

The only error I get is when I don't set the audio device to -1 in the ini. The default frame rate is set to 30 in the ini for me, and it shows that in the program when I start up but it may be dropping for some other reason. The frame rate depends on a lot of factors, like on mine it drops to 10 if I use 640x480, but can get 30 for 320x240. Also I can't get it to start with ffdshow set to xvid but it works great with H.264 and some others.

Audio device to -1 doesn't effect the error

Seems to record perfectly fine when I manually select 30fps BUT dies with an error (which I should screenshot) if I try and record again and have to close and re-open the program Anyone come across that issue?

    Cheers!

I found the problem with the frame rate and posted an update here:
    http://curioustech.home.insightbb.co...reUltimate.zip

I did get an unspecified error and found that it was because the audio device wasn't set. Once that was set, I tried recording at 15, 25, and 30 fps. It seemed to work without closing and reopening at least.

Some great work here! Cheers for the efforts guys!

A favour if I may? The thread is a bit long and confusing in places.

Is there a particular post or set of posts that will give me an Idea
what components to download and how to configure. In order to
get Capture running with one camera and GPS overlay.

Or failing that does anyone have time to throw together a quick
    'how to' ?

    Cheers!

Ok.. So I had a play......

Downloaded the zip (3 posts previous)

    Downloaded xport

Plugged in GPS, Connected it to xport, Got satelite fix.

    Run Capture from capturetest/bin/release

Throws an error -> Object reference not set to an instance of an object

    Hit 'continue'

Capture opens and camera preview works fine.

From options dropdown choose GPS overlay

    Throws an error ->
Retrieving the COM class factory for component with CLSID
    {8B4A194C-061F-4E53-BEE5-08B55129CB9D} failed due to
    the following error: 8007007e

    What did I do wrong?

Thanks for this, it now saves at 30fps

I still get the error if I try and hit record again, screenshot it:
