    Thumbs up

The new version works great. Thanks a bunch Curiosity!!!

I'm yet to see any crash with any of the options I've tried.

For video encoding I've used DIVX3 set to "One Pass- Quality" mode and the picture quality is adequate for a webcam source. It takes up about 40 MB for a 3 minute video though. I'm yet to try other codecs for better quality/file size ratio.

OCR A EXT is a nice font to reduce the jaggies around the overlays.

    Requests:
When you plan to release the next revision, could you please try to add a display option for the number of satellites. Ex. 6 In use / 10 Available

Also a more pronounced indication that it is recording would really help. The current Red-White blinking of the time-line is a bit difficult to see especially when the progress bar is Green.

    Thanks again...

That OCR font looks good. A different color like white may also help with the artifacting.

I added a 12 signal bars display and 2D/3D fix indicator to the filter. That might help with the GPS status.

Also changed the record progress. I made it larger and changed the colors a bit. See if that helps.

    That OCR font is excellent.

On an unrelated note, is there an auto delete after x files option? (Sorry I don't have it in front of me). I swear I checked though it and didn't notice any but I just went to check my weekend runs and they disappeared in place of the morning run!

It's in the middle on the right. "File Limit" Set it to 0 to disable. The MB Limit can be disabled with 0 as well. That's the total MB of all files and is checked before recording starts. It doesn't limit during recording though.

Ahuh! The limit was set to 1024MB (by default? Can't remember if I set it) so that makes sense, hitting 1GB overall and deleting the old ones. Fair enough I'll set that to 0.

The satellite signal bar and fix indicator works a treat...Thanks for including this feature.

I've observed another random problem now.

Test Config: Multi-File Record Enabled, Time Limit: 3 minutes, File Limit: 50, MB Limit: 1024

During multi-file record, some random files are found corrupted. It has happened 3 out of 8 times (some 9 out of 50 odd files total) I've tried and it is usually the second capture file which gets corrupt more often but the corruption is quite random.

If the preview is enabled, you can also observe that the preview suddenly stops when the switchover to the next file happens and the subsequent file would have gone corrupt. After the blank preview/corruption, sometimes the preview returns back to normal after the set time limit and the recording as well picks up from there.

Another indication of corruption is that both round and square buttons which indicates Record/Recording is active at the same time.

I hope the above indications helps in figuring out where the problem lies.

Curiosity can I just confirm with the time limit setting, that its just the time limit for that single record? Then it starts a new one correct (with multi file enabled)?

I set it to 0:00:00 thinking it would be a 'record continually' but it just started created 1 second files

So for now I just set it to 99:00:00 hours

Yeah, the time limit ignores 0 as unlimited. I just changed that. I also added a delay when it hits the limit and starts recording again. See if that helps. I haven't been able to corrupt any files yet, so not sure what's causing that.
