Ok, good. So the battery saver is doing it's thing and you don't need to open the window or mess with it?

Correct, from cold boot with the b version I opened a GPS program and Xport went green without me having to open it

Seems I jumped the gun, with the battery saver on it works for a couple of seconds when Minicam starts (goes green) then suddenly drops the GPS and actually goes black. If you open Xport, it doesn't connect until you untick battery saver and then its back in action. Replicated twice

You wouldn't happen to have NMEA filter on as well would you? I found a little problem with that if the GPS has noise on connect. It takes about 2 seconds to detect and restart but can fail. If so, try without it for now.

Strange. I've been testing it and haven't found any more problems.

Well, as you remember, I have been using the debug version, it's the only one that works for me. I think it has to do with my camera (Logitech QuickCam Pro 9000), because I see the same pattern on windows xp sp3 and a fresh windows 7 install.

I lke the camera, Carl Zeiss f2 optics, right light is great for night shots, etc. and more importantly, I paid for it already, hard to part company with it now! I also have a creative labs in my office, but I usually don't trust Creative Labs drivers (X-Fi case in point), so I'm reluctant to make the change.

I just copied the debug version to the regular version folder, registered the dll and that's it. It's working fine.

My question is quick: what's the difference between Minicam version 0.2.0 (debug that I have) and the newest 0.3.0?

Oh heck, I forgot about that. I'd really like to figure this out because it's probably something corrupting memory. I just uploaded a new one that you can try, but keep the debug one just in case. Logitech is the best, IMO. I don't think that's it.

The only real change was in window dragging. I wasn't passing the mouse X/Y so in Windows 7, it will jump around when you drag it.

Thanks! All try that soon. (Yes, I noticed the jumping around the screen, I don't mind that really).
