Dangit! I'm usually the one giving out lmgtfy!
Sorry, I assumed dbgview.exe was a special file that was suppose to be included in the zip since you said this:
But you know what they say...when you assume....Ok, special MiniCam Debug version for anyone who wants it fixed. Run DbgView.exe before starting it. The messages may be cryptic, but I'll know what they mean.![]()
Yeah I guess it's been a few posts since I mentioned where to get it. I've already forgotten what the debug statements were. It's probably going to show a bunch of capture events numbers. Or some error message. Hopefully I can get something to go on from that.
Forgive me for not reading 53 pages but I constantly get an error from this application and I'm wondering if I'm the only one. I set the recorded videos to go into a the Capture folder I have on my desktop and it works great but when the computer comes out of hibernation each time I start the car, it throws an error message saying it can't write to the video file because it may already be in use. Yesterday I closed Road Runner to shut down Windows and there were about 50 of these error boxes on the screen.

Are you starting a new instance of it in RR on resume? That could possibly happen if there were 2 of them running.

That's really strange, becuase Capture has time, including seconds in the filename. Have you added an antivirus or some file monitoring app recently? Either that or 2 of them are trying to start at the exact same time, but it would only work with 2 cameras.
Doesn't it continue recording to the same file it left off with when it resumes from hibernation?
