Hey Curiosity,
I tried DbgView, but i get nothing on the report, is there a setting i need to enable?
MiniCam won't restart the cam after coming out of hibination. All I get is a white screen and I have to close MiniCam and restart it to get it running with the web cam again. Not using it with any GPS or the xport app. Any ideas?
Nope nothing. It opens up as if it is starting okay but the window stays white. Codex doesn't seem to make a difference (in case that is any help). I have it set up to start recording as soon as loads but I checked and it's definately not recording, also I'm pretty certain it did the same thing when it wasn't set to record but I can't be 100% on that.
It could be something to do with the webcam I 'm using. It's a cheapo Tecknic autofocus thing. I'm thinking about getting something better than that anyway like a hd web cam but that will have to wait till end of next month.
Make sure you have "Multi-File Record" enabled. Without that enabled it won't do anything. I guess it's not intuitive, so I'll change that.
switched to the new version 1.04
resolution bug is fixed, but new ones arrived, Scenarios :
- "GPS-overlay" disabled, my GPS-mouse not connected to the PC
Result : a good recording !
- "GPS overlay" enabled, my GPS mouse not connected to the PC
Result : when starting recording minicam disappears (unloads itself from windows)
- "GPS overlay" disabled, my GPS mouse connected to the PC (no GPS fix)
Result : minicam freezes when start recording (white minicam screen)
- "GPS overlay" enabled, my GPS mouse connected to the PC (no GPS fix)
Result : minicam freezes when start recording (white minicam screen)
At the moment I don't have the ability to test with a GPX fix (I'm inside a big building)
Debugview reports are attached
Hmm, that's odd. All configurations are working for me. Since all that was changed was setting the resolution, it's possible that you can only record at 320x240. Try that and see of it works better. If so, try a different cam. Also the last log showed a different app using a COM port. Those aren't my debug messages, but it's probably not interfering with XPort.
That makes it start recording again when the time limit hits, but I also used it to start when windows resumes. I think I did that as a test at one point and left it.
