I showed it to my brother, I'm building his Car PC, and he agreed that the "Play Game" button was/is a good idea.
I fixed a small bug and the new versions of Mobile Impact and Emulator are available from the website.
Bug Fix:
Description, when you go into a directory that has more folders that is showing, then back to one that has only several. You get a runtime error when you try to use the scrollbar -> Fixed

Hey RED I was wondering if you can hook me up with the PSD of your mobile emulator logo so I can put it in my skin?
Thanks in advance.
Thanatos.
I did the graphics in Paint Shop Pro. I have them in .png format with transparent background. Can you use them?Originally Posted by thanatos106

I guess I can make it work. Can you post it for me?
Thanks.
Thanatos.
first off nice app, ive been waiting for this.
Is it possible that you allow the resolution be set to whatever you want it to be? Or allow the app to be resized by frontends? Im trying to embed it in RR and match the skin with my skin for RR but the whole bottom bar gets cut off.
800x600 is an ideal resolution, but most people need more flexibility so things can be more intgergrated with there setup. For example, my setup requires this to be 800x392 for me to be able to use it with my frontend.
I applaud your work so far and think its a really nice job, it just need to have the restraints taken off the resolution.
hmm, just a thougt.
Would it be able to have keypresses adressed to the different buttons? (ie ability to control it via skibedder)
Also, is it able to move the buttons in your skin?
I think you understand what i'm up to...![]()
Hey RED The APP don't work when installing in a diferent folder other than Mobile Impact.
Thanatos.
Edit:
Ok I made work the way I want it.... hehehe
I just have to install mev in the default dir and then make two diferent installations for day and night skin![]()
Thank you for the compliments, Right now it is not set up that way. I could probably start off by making it able to move the buttons around, but the vertical scrollbar relies on the height and number of items showing in the listview box. It is really basic code, which is why it is so easy to fix bugs and why it runs smoothly. Because I have hard coded the size of the file list, which is the same height as the section that embeds the emulators. If I were to make this part of it sizeable, then the user would have to assign a top, left, height and width setting 5 different times, and 5 different ways, making it somewhat complicated to set up for the average user. I could allow the up and down scroll buttons, the updir button and the other 3 buttons to be moved fairly easily enough however, but the hieght and width of the file list and the embedded part to remain the same, location of it could change. I will see about setting it up to do this.Originally Posted by liquid_smoke
Setting it up for keypressess is a very easy thing to do. What keys would you suggest and for which function?Originally Posted by Mañana
Yep, the program relies on the mobile impact directory for the emulator programs. Here is the list of what it looks for:Originally Posted by thanatos106
C:\Program Files\Mobile Impact\GBA -> for the gba emulator exe
C:\Program Files\Mobile Impact\NES -> for the nes emulator exe
C:\Program Files\Mobile Impact\Sega -> for the sega emulator exe
C:\Program Files\Mobile Impact\SNES -> for the snes emulator exe
C:\Program Files\Project64 1.6 -> for the n64 emulator exe
If this were to change, it might make the program have problems as it would then have to rely on user input.
Thats a good idea to have a day or a night selection skin, or set it up in the ini file to be automatic, or either or. I will work on this and see.
