OK something to play with for everyone
if there are functions not working please let me know

    Known Issues

    • If MPG resolves to >1000 MPG a comma is added to it making flash not display entries made after the bad entry is created
    • View entries page needs to be updated with gas station mpg etc
    • most of the features not availible are marked others may exist

    Objective

    • To check the accuracy and or innacuracy of calcuations
    • To release it to other locales to test it with thier denomination and volume of fuel
    • work out the bugs
    • To give everyone an opportunity to suggest layout changes design issues etc

Hopefully I'll be able to devote some more time to this than ive had in recent weeks

If there are embeding issues let me know i did not change the name of the exe from macromedia
so that would be your window name

everything is configurable by ini tried to keep it simple
stations.ini is used for gas station
service.ini is the name of service station for when i add oil changes etc
textlabelsetc.ini by default is set to USA (mpg etc)
ive included a litres file and done my best with the labels thus far and changes let me know and i can update it accordingly

Also i should mention to effectively see the functions included with the calender part modify the date of fill ups afer youve created them then you can view them in the calender part

    Hi,

    liked so far.

About the litres part, there are a lot of places where is still needed to replace the labels, but thats not a issue at the moment. Thats just cosmetic details an not important at all.

The calculation part is. We donīt use miles/gallon or Kilometers/litre, That value has no meaning for us. We use litres / 100 kilometers.
    So the maths are:

    L/100Km=L/(km/100)

So lets say I drove 500 kilometers and I used 64 litres to fill up. My average would be 64/(500/100)=64/5=12.8 L/100Km

Maybe you could put the formula on the ini, you would have to read it and parse it onto the code. Not sure if that can be done with flash but would cover all possibilities

should be an easy fix ill just make it so that if the unit specified in the ini is litres then it will divide by an additional 100 thanks for the calculation tho i can bench test it now
