if i get the time i was thinking of doing something more accurate like splitting the signal off of the brian ofr the car (the pulses send to your speedometer) usually 1000 per mile . that is how the odometers work.

i would need other members help tho to implement something as complex as that tho

Well, you could get a starttime of trip and end time of trip with Average speed of trip to be more accurate on mileage...

Just ran it, looks good but looks like some screen formatting issues (some text runs on at the top left). Could be weirdness because I'm testing this on a tablet pc with a wide and short screen.

How about being able to go back and fill in miles on a specific date (in between existing entries or before newes entry), same for maintance, fills ups etc. I know it's a lot of data shufling but seems like a useful feature.
example, I have X number of miles on my odometer, but know that 3 days ago I had Y number on my odometer, and before todays maintance I also did maintance last month.

One thing I noticed is that on the View Entries page, the button to save/go back? is not shown.

to do everyday you would need to log daily unfortunatly unless we figure out some external way of calculating mileage

that wouldnt be a bad estimate but overall you still have dropouts of signal
and most of all it would be more cpu intensive assuming i logged speed reasonably close together.

there is some left over text that might creep over on the modify page i belive thats there for debugging etc if u have a screen shot please post it

This can be done without much problem as far as calculation
as far as the number of the record that might be able to be changed id have to sort all records each time you enter a out of order date tho

how important is the correct order? ill take a look at it

Added calender and gas indicator
tried embedding app in RR to find that scaling and exact size depending on skin can vary text size quite a bit

im working on a solution
in the meantime does anyone know how regular applications iguidance/rr/cf/ etc do thier scaling
i have it currently set to exact fit. can anyone lend me a hand troubleshooting this

i really dont want to rls 3 or 4 different resolution versions but it looks like i may have to. so far it works best with 800x600

anyway i think i even found an option to import old entried from other programs i need to know the format of these other programs tho to make a decompiler

if anyone has carcare or similar program plz send me a log history file so i can TRY to convert it to a shared object for flash
