It looks cool but pricey. The will be competing with DriveSoft. Funny enough they also reduced their prices. I do want everyone to take a note here though how SIMPLE that SKIN looked. Everything from the main menu, to Music to GPS was very nicely done. This is what I'm looking for in a skin!! I'm not going to pay $2500 to get it though! LOL.

I don't know though if I agree with this move my MP3Car unless they are the makers of this product. I mean this is suppose to be a forum not clouded by professional high charged products. Of course I could be wrong. It will be nice though if they released the front end for FREE! Ha ha.

Oh yeah, I did notice, but it got lost in cyber threads somewhere

TOP JOB fellas... Bringing it to the masses

Seriously, it looks like a smart piece of kit. Price also doesn't seem to bad , especially compared to the 2006 Pioneer Avic-Z. Thats probably going to cost more for less.

Waranties will only be for parts if the software is as good as im expecting. And they don't fail that often.
It just whether or not the software can hold up to the abuse of the non pc literate.

I think it's a great move on their part. Obviously, it isn't aimed at us forum rats. We're building our own stuff. But when you compare it to the price of in car nav/entertainment systems or aftermarket stuff, it looks pretty good if you aren't a DIY'er.

If they sell the software and it really is that good, then we'll have another great choice. If anything more than free is out of the question, then no harm done. We've still got lots of great free frontends to choose from.

How is that? You still have to pay for installation and you're already at $2500. It all depends on what you want but I'm not totally sold on the price yet. Drivesoft who has been out even longer has a solution like this too and I don't think their price is this high. There are more out there now.

I do like what I see though; I love how you could write text on the screen. Cool.
