Do you have a link or relavent word to search for? I've'd and 'd but can't find ought yet.

I really would appreciate a kick in the right direction as it's the only thing halting the 1st install.

Thanks for the link but I've actually already found that but it makes no sense to me. I know that to use minlogon you add that reg key

    HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon],"Config"
But I don't know what they mean by

    (binary value, 5th bit)
    or

Look at the cmiWlxAutoRestartShell extended property of the Minlogon component.
Please help me to know my arse from my elbow.

hmmm....I've never had to deal with this. Maybe they mean changing the Config value from 0x17 to 0x07?

I don't know what these guys are on about in this thread.

Can someone please explain what they mean by:

If you click on a component node in a Configuration opened in TD on the right side panel you will see the component description and
etc. On the bottom of the panel you see Advanced... button. If you click on it, you open Advanced Component Properties dialog where
you can add/change any extended property of the component.
You will have to change cmiWlxAutoRestartShell property.
I this an edit you have to do with emdedded?

Or is it just a case of adding the "config" with Hex value 17, which is a decimal of 23? (which I already have)

    binary:
    0000 17 00 00 00

I googled "(binary value, 5th bit)" and found this.

    Is the 5th bit = 23?

    Found this.

I think it may not be possible. I'll just have to live with it - unless I disable all error messages.
    and and some more...

I can't even disable the error message!

I've "Disabled Error Reporting" in System properties.
Even added a reg key according to this.

    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Windows]
    "ErrorMode"=dword:00000002
I think I'll just gouge my eyes out so I don't see it any more.

Yes that works. Think it would be good for me to read up on binary/hex and reg keys!

Thanks a million SFiorito and frodobaggins. You would have saved me over 8hrs if I'd bothered to take your advice.
