    Win98LITE with StreetFinder 2000

    Has anyone here ever had a problem using Win98Lite (actually winME lite) with Streetfinder Deluxe 2000? I install it on my home machine (Win XP), and it works fine. But when I install into Win98 Lite in the car and try to run it, it says unable to create blank document. Any ideas???

    does it require IE for its rendering engine? Since you may have removed it with 98lite?

    Yep...that fixed it...I removed 98lite and reinstalled ME...works like a charm now

    you can still use 98lite, just keep IE on there. It wont be the fastest boot possible with 98lite, but will be better than no 98lite at all.....

    that.... or when u install 98lite on a clean machine you get the options of small/micro/etc...... one of them remove a bit of stuff but leave the IE engine in tact...

    or maybe do a bare install and then try to install IE6 or something like that to give the rendering support back?
