2006 Honda Civic Hybrid has a nice navigation system.

Just received delivery of my new car (well, ok my wife's new car

).

It's navigation system is very nicely done as far as I can tell so far in the limited amount of time I've had to play with it. It doesn't have a lot of the usability problems than many of the frontends/skins have that really bug me.

Anyway, I'm off out to play with it some more

Pics might not work so well - there are tons of screens. One of the things I like about this system and something I've been aiming at in my RoadRunner skin is that each screen has a limited set of choices so you aren't overloaded at any time and hence there are a lot of screens.

Having played with it some more, that comparison may not be entirely fair since it does have a bunch of dedicated button down the left & right side. I don't use them much but they do add back the button count per screen. On the other hand they're always present and always do the same thing so I prefer that layout over a main menu skin with 101 different buttons.

I know you already said NO, but can we beg you to please take several pictures of the screen? I would be interested in making a new skin based on the OEM look. Sderiously. Would you consider spending 15 mins goging through a few screens for us? Pretty please?

I said no to pictures. I was thinking of trying to video some use of the system to give a more complete view of it for a lot less effort on my part

. I just haven't had time yet.

Well, here's the first piccy. This shows the 'legal' screen that the car salesmen said was a federal requirement. I'm not convinced that it truly is - but it's clearly intended to get the car manufacturer out of liability if you crash the car will interacting with it. You have to click OK before you can do anything with the system

Here's what the daytime GPS looks like (note you can choose several color choice - default daytime is just one of the brighter ones, nighttime is just one of the darker ones).
