I asked this question in the Frodoplayer forum, but I doesn't get as many views, and I'm not sure if it's a Frodoplayer problem or not. No one could help me there, so I'm gonna try here. I've spent the last week and a half screwing with this problem off and on.
This is really wierd and I've searched here and Googled my *** off, but I can't find any mention of it.
When using Frodoplayer, after a song has played all the way through, the ID3 tag is written to. The "Comment" field becomes something that looks like hex.
If I fastfoward through a song it doesn't do it. If I play the song all the way through using Media Player, it doesn't do it. I thought it might have something to do with a playcount, like iTunes does. But, to my knowledge neither Frodoplayer or Media Player do this.
It does this on a brand new install and on my personal computer, so I can replicate it. It's a big problem, b/c I have multiple programs that monitor for changed files, including Frodoplayer, and they are all triggered anytime a song plays completely through.
Any help is appreciated.
