    ways to speed up xp

    Whats the best way to speed up xp? I have 512ram, 1GHZ mini-itx. Running RoadRunner, with PhoneControl.NET + Voice utility.

    -Turn off unnecessary services
    -Turn off System Restore
    -Turn off "Allow Indexing Service" on each hard drive
    -Minimize programs running during startup

    Just a few things I do on all my computers. I've got pretty much same setup (512ram, 1Ghz VIA mobo) and XP runs pretty well on it.
