Does anyone have any touchscreen keyboard software they are using?
I'd like to try to avoid having to have a keyboard in the car.
I understand a lot of the front ends have touch keyboards for the nav and playlist naming etc... but I'm looking for something to use with the external apps like internet explorer, notepad, or whatever else is being used.
I been doing lots of forum searching and reading and haven't really come across anything useful.
Came up with a few things in google, but i'm not looking to pay $100+ for this functionality.
Any ideas or information?
TIA

Is there any way to close that keyboard except via right-click with the mouse? What if you have no keyboard/mouse?

Hi 01,
if you have a touch screen with the Egalax Drivers (most common) then you can set the keyclicks to emulate a right button, by keeping your finger on the screen for around 2 secs. To set this up, fire up the Touch screen control panel, and I think you hit the advanced button, and select the option.
This will let you take advantage of this software.

Actually I got around it another way... I simply replaced the keyboard icon with a section of my skin, and positioned it precisely over that portion of the skin inside the skin. So basically when the keyboard is active, the icon becomes part of the skin and is invisible. This way I can leave the keyboard active all the time, but the icon won't stick out, but instead blends right in with the rest of the skin.
