I'm not sure if it's possible, but have you tried monitoring it with HyperTerminal?
Just a shot in the dark but i'm wondering if there's a program out there that can just read the data of a com port when its in use by another program. Specifically, i wanna read the AT communications between my phone and phoco so that i can create a script that performs functions when my phone sends data to phoco.

Newsflash: Take a look at my unsold stuff above, thanks!
Up Next: Make an OBD to Serial cable & Redo the "MMI buttons"
Here is a short for you. I am not 100% sure if it work, but by logic, it should.
Xport3. Yes, that right because all it does is create a multiple virtual port of a "real port". Connect phonco to one port and hyper terminal to the other port and monitor.
My phone is not here with me, otherwise I'll test it with xport3 and virtual port.

Just make a Y-adapter that routes the data to two physical COM ports. The second port would not be able to 'talk' or transmit to the phone, just listen in. You could use HyperTerm (gag), TeraTerm, or similar to capture.
As long as the second program only monitors the RxD line, and can't transmit to the phone thereby confusing it, then it should work. We used to do it in the lab years ago.
Okay I looked up the pinout to make sure. Just connect pins 2 (RxD) and 5 (ground) from the incoming DB9 connector to another.
You can buy the DB9's at Radio Shack or similar store and build it, or if you have two serial cables laying around that you don't use anymore (one should be wired as straight-thru rather than null modem) then you can hack something together using those.
