You might be able to modify the bitmaps and then "re-compile" the PRC file with metroworks Codewarrior 7 program.

Hey babas151, here's a program that installs on your Palm and let's you change the actual PRC file. I tried it yesterday and changed some bit maps on some of my apps. Only took like 20 minutes to figure out how to use it and it works pretty good.

Quartus RsrcEdit provides templates for editing:

Form (tFRM)
Menu (MBAR)
Alert (Talt)
String (tSTR)
Icon (tAIB)
Application Name (tAIN)
Version string (tver)
Bitmap (Tbmp) resources.

you DON'T need the actual source code at all. You modify the "oringinal" PRC. This free Trial app has a lot of possibilities to make modifying ANY PRC a snap. You just select the app you want in the list then click open, scroll through the different Tbmps (bitmaps), or tFRM (forms that have fields in them ie: you can change font sizes and words in here) .You can change the icons that appear the palm desktop, change or add bitmaps, change font sizes, the list goes on and on.

yep you could even get rid of the "unregistered" writing on palmAmp under the plug symbol. You could also "increase" the font size on PalmAmp song title from bold to Large or even "Bold Large". You could even change the PalmAmp splash screen to say registered. After spending the last couple of day's with this app i've customized some of my apps to suit my needs, and i'll think you'll agree it's a must need app for anyone wanting to change the appearence of their Palm Programs.
