    Unhappy mpxplay troubles

    Hi,
I'm having a *slight* problem with mpxplay:
when I start it up, I can scan my CDROM for MP3s and MPYPLAY will start to play the first file.
But after some time (~60s) there is no sound anymore, the CPU-load goes up to ~250% (but the CPU doesn't get hot...) and the equalizer is moving slooooow... I can still browse through my playlist, if I select another song it will begin to play but you can't hear anything and the CPU-load and the equalizer react just as described above...

System: P100, 64MB RAM, AWE64 - any more information needed?

    Please, help me...

It was working fine on mine when I used the CD. Whenever there were problems (skips and such) I would try the suggestions in the readme file. Just play with the buffer settings and such.

    Solved...

    Hi,
just wanted to let you know that I solved the problem my using another motheboard - the old one wouldn't boot from HD so it was faulty anyway - with the new MB and the same processor, it works like a charm
