XM Radio Software SDK Needed

Hey guys ,
My Carputer is almost done, however XM seems to be a real problem, I am buliding my own front end, and I am at 90% completed and stable, however I can seem to figure out the how to code the XM portion in C#, I have found a few VB6 controls that dont seem like they want to behave real well in .NET, I a have also tried Hybrid-Mobiles DLL that comes with thier eXem Application, and keep getting the same problem. The Radio tunes just fine and after about 45 sec to a minute, I can no longer change Channels, as a matter of fact it wont accept any command, not even shut down or mute, and when I close the application, the radio stays On and playing the last channel I tuned to. I get the same results with FrodosXM ,FrodosXM service,RoadRunner, CF . Could this be a hardware problem, or I am I missing something in the code..
