The config file getting corrupted is the biggest issue for me. Everything else I have found work a rounds for.

This project IS getting re-opened again! I have had some professional interest in the software, so I will be bug fixing and applying upgrades (as requested by you guys).

I'll try and have the new version out within a few weeks!

blessani, is there a way to change the time to shut down, so that its less than 10 seconds?

Anyone know if this can be configured to work with normal carpcs and not just laptops with batteries.

What I want to be able to do is once the power button on the PC is pushed is to reboot then hibernate is this possible with ShutControl?

I should work just fine. SC just watches for those events. You will lose some of the features like low battery indication, but you can use it for what you want.

Does it monitor the power button press I thought it was just monitoring the AC voltage status?

I was hoping it could be modified to monitor for the power button press action
