    Voice control for Winamp

Hi all. As Winamp voice control has come up in discussion here a few times before, I thought you all might be interested to hear that a new version of Voodoo Voice is available!

Check out the new web site at www.voodoo-voice.com.

A pre-release Alpha version of Voodoo Voice v2.0 is currently available. I'd love if anyone interested in Winamp voice control could try it out and let me know how it works for you.

For anyone who doesn't know, Voodoo Voice is a plugin for Winamp that allows you to control it with your voice. You can issue commands such as "begin play", "set volume 89 percent", or "play something by soul hooligan". It is extremely accurate (if you doubt the viability of voice control, even in a car, I highly recommend you try it out. You'll be pleasantly surprised.) and speaker independent.

I'm looking forward to any feedback,
    Kevin

I don't think he is. That last post was 2001 and he only has 2 posts. As well, his site hasn't really changed in almost 2 years now. Either has the Voodoo Voice software...

yep, I figured as much. I am just trying all avenues to contact him. If he stop the project, maybe he would allow us or me to continue it. It is very cool.

You could set up NaviVoice to work with winamp. Set it to control RR through the command line and you're good to go.
