Program for controlling a usb device.

    hi

i am hopefully going to start making a usb relay controller using pic devcelopment kit soon

i do not however have any experience with programming and wanted to know what the best way of controlling said relay unit would be.

i would like to integrate into currently available front ends simple buttons which send instructions to the usb device to perform certain actions.

i need info on what language to use and generally how to transfer commands to a usb device.

any help would be great thanks

have you searched for some of the kits / boards people use on the board?

the velleman board is awesome, i think anyway.

its probably too much effort to go start ground up on a design, specially if you dont know any hardware languages.

Hi Turbosatan, check edaboard.com (microcontroller forum)

You can use Proton IDE or Microcode Studio Plus to program your PIC.
